New Delhi: The stagnation of Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli is not a new phenomenon to report upon as Liverpool manager has made it explicitly clear that he has not envisioned Balotelli in his head for the upcoming football season.
Balotelli had earlier met Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho to ask his advice on what he should do in the future. And if Balotelli confirms his move to Italy's Palermo, his massive pay-checks could fall victim to a huge pay cut.
"Palermo apparently offering Mario Balotelli £11,000 a week. He earns more than that in a day at Liverpool," tweeted Kaveh Solhekol.
After his meeting with Jose Mourinho, there was some speculation that Mourinho was considering roping in Balotelli into the squad. But MUFC fans vary of the reputation the Italian striker is now familiar with shut down the rumours and further ridiculed it.
Palermo has given 24 hours for Balotelli to answer to their offer. While Balotelli himself might not resort to the deal, he might listen to his advisors who think he is best at home.
