New Delhi: With the transfer deadline day setting the football transfer scene in frenzy, it is rumoured that Tottenham will be offering a bid of £38 million for FC Schalke star Max Meyer.
Meyer, who is 20-years-old, is one of the most sought-after young talents in football; his signing would be a big swoop for Mauricio Pochettino's Tottenham. Meyer will be reportedly offered a deal worth around £6.8 million a year at White Hart Lane, plus bonuses.
FC Schalke had yesterday signed Yevhen Konoplyanka in their squad, effectively paving the way for the exit of Max Meyer. But it is not clear whether Schalke is too keen on seeing Max Meyer go. They have already sold Leroy Sane to Manchester City and selling off Max Meyer will be considered apprehensively.

Tottenham loaned out Nabil Bentaleb last week to join the Bundesliga, and they're hoping to rope in Real Madrid's Isco to the White Hart Lane.
