Advisors are in talks with Arsenal for a staggering £200,000 a week fee for the German superstar

New Delhi: Premier League club Arsenal are hopeful that player Mesut Ozil will stay with the club after signing German international Shkodran Mustafi into the team.

Arsene Wenger wants Ozil to sign a new contract with the club as the forward's contract will expire in two years. Wenger wants to make sure that the superstar has a new contract signed with Emirates before that.

Ozil, on the other hand, is desperately looking to win major trophies with the club, or without it; and if the relationship fails, he might opt for a transfer window whenever chance avails him the opportunity.

£30 million for Mustafi by Arsenal has been a huge sum for the club which has spent just £90 million this transfer season. And with another German international in the club, Arsenal hopes that Ozil will play under a better environment inside the club.

Alexis Sanchez's contract with Arsenal will also be expiring in two years.
