Madrid: Real Madrid midfielder Marco Asensio dreams of winning the Champions League because they face the best clubs and footballers in that tournament.
Asensio said in the interview to Sportium News on Thursday that he wants to continue to grow and contribute to a positive season, adding that he wants fans to enjoy his performance, reports Efe.
The Spaniard said his target with the team is winning all titles as being at Real Madrid makes him feel like there is no other alternative to winning.
Asensio acknowledged that he is glad to play under the helm of Zinedine Zidane, who has been his idol since he was a child.
On playing as a starter in the first two Liga matches with Real Madrid, he explained that he has always believed in himself and knew his time would come.
The 20-year-old was also proud to be called by coach Julen Lopetegui to play with the national team in the matches against Belgium and Liechtenstein.
