New Delhi: Looks like the Gods are being too merciful on Indian wrestler Yogeshwar Dutt. Soon after the news of his 2012 London Olympics bronze medal being upgraded to silver started doing the rounds, there is another add-on to it.
As per recent reports, the 2012 Olympics gold medal holder, Toghrul Asgarov has failed the dope test, which gives Yogeshwar a chance to be India’s second individual Olympic gold medallist after Abhinav Bindra shot for the top honours in Beijing Olympics 2008.
However, even after the news of Yogeshwar Dutt’s medal being upgraded, after Russian Wrestler late Besik Kudukhov failed the dope test, is catching many eyes, it would not turn concrete until and unless Yogeshwar Dutt passes the dope test, which he has to undergo in order to prove himself rightful and worthy of the medal.
