New Delhi: It seems that the former Indian Premier League (IPL) chairman Lalit Modi son's Ruchir Modi is looking for a larger role in sports administration. As per reports, he has reportedly won the local cricket body polls and has been elected as the President of the Alwar District Cricket Association.
Ahead of this development, Lalit Modi, who was the president of the Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) which was banned by the BCCI, is trying to make a comeback into the RCA so as to play a significant role in the Association through his son.
Lalit Modi following the 2010 IPL, was suspended from BCCI after being accused of misconduct, indiscipline and financial irregularities. Also RCA, which was one of the most powerful body in the country, was banned for two years by the BCCI.
