New Delhi: With interest peaking on Atletico Madrid player Antoine Griezmann, it seems like Chelsea is up and ready to sign a world record transfer deal for Atletico Madrid's Antoine Griezmann when the transfer window opens next time.
The release clause for Antoine Griezmann is £86 million, and Chelsea is ready to sign him above the aforementioned amount. If it is indeed so, then Griezmann's transfer deal will surpass that of Paul Pogba who was signed from Juventus for £89 million by Manchester United.
Griezmann, who is 25-years-old, has been the leading scorer for Atletico Madrid for the last two seasons. He was the top scorer in Euro 2016.
Antonio Conte is all set to sign in the French player to beat spiking interests from Premier League clubs like Manchester United. Interestingly, Atletico was handed a transfer embargo from FIFA for the next two transfer windows last month.
