New Delhi: Leicester City fans were apprehensive about seeing their club play their first ever Champions League match. After all, a defeat would've been disastrous for them. But the breakthrough came with the first goal from Leicester's side, and they were pretty much uncontrollable after that.
Foxes' Marc Albrighton scored the first goal when a defensive error turned into a chance for Leicester. Then there was Riyad Mahrez.
Albrighton's goal was seconded by Mahrez who curled in a rapturous free kick just before half-time.

Brugge keeper abruptly brought down Jamie Vardy inside the box, and the referee appropriately handed Leicester a penalty. Riyad Mahrez saw the ball inside the net and the tally increased by two, giving Mahrez a much-deserved brace for his effort.
After winning the Premier League title, it is expected of Leicester to enter a more intense competition inside the Champions League.
