New Zealand pacer Tim Southee has been ruled out of the Test series against India due to an ankle injury

New Delhi: In a major setback to the New Zealand team, pacer Tim Southee has been ruled out of the Test series against India due to an ankle injury. 
 
Southee felt pain in his left foot while training and will return to New Zealand for rehab with a goal to be fit for the ODI series starting on October 16. 
 
Fast bowler Matt Henry will be replacing Southee in the squad. The three-match Test series between the two countries will begin on September 22 in Kanpur.
