New Delhi: On the second day of the third and final Test against New Zealand, Indian captain Virat Kohli shut down his critics by scoring a double century at the Holkar Cricket Stadium in Gwalior.
Kohli, who scored a massive 200 off of 346 balls, became the first Indian to hit two double centuries as a captain. This is his second double ton this calendar year.
Ajinkya Rahane played a huge role as well, notching up 161 at tea on Day 2.
Earlier, Kohli ended his brief spell of drought of big runs with a brilliant unbeaten century to guide India to 267/3 at stumps on Saturday.
