Indian Shuttler Ruthvika Shivani beat Russia's Evgeniya Kosetskaya to clinch the Russian Open

Vladivostok: Indian Shuttler Ruthvika Shivani beat Russia's Evgeniya Kosetskaya to clinch the Russian Open title on Sunday. 
 
The 19-year-old defeated her opponent in straight sets 21-10, 21-13 in the 30-minute long match. 
 
On the other hand, in the men's single event Siril Verma had to be content with a silver medal after losing to top seeded Zulfadli Zulkiffli of Malaysia. 
 
In the mixed doubles, duo of N Sikki Reddy and Pranaav Jerry Chopra bagged the gold medal by beating Russia's Vladimir Ivanovand Valeria Sorokina.
