New Delhi: Suresh Raina, who was included in Indian ODI team after a long time will miss out the first match against New Zealand in Dharamsala.
Raina is currently down with fever and is unlikely to recover for Sunday’s series-opening match, said BCCI in a tweet.
The BCCI has clarified that they won’t be announcing replacement for Raina. The board did not give further information on the illness.
In Raina’s unavailability, Mandeep Singh might get a chance to make his ODI debut. Singh was part of the T20 team for the tour of Zimbabwe earlier this year.
