Kabaddi World Cup 2016: India registers massive win, crushes Argentina 74-20

Ahmedabad: On their road to the semi-finals, India on Saturday registered a massive win against Argentina in the Kabaddi World Cup 2016. India defeated Argentina 74-20 to keep their semi-final chances strong in the tournament.

India could not have registered this massive win without a spectacular performance by Ajay Thakur and Rahul Chaudhari.

India on Saturday took on Argentina in its fourth match of the ongoing Kabaddi World Cup in Ahmedabad. It’s a great comeback for India after it witnessed shocking defeat in its opening match against South Korea.

Currently South Korea is enjoying the top position in the Pool A with 15 points, while India chasing behind with 11 points. Just a while back, South Korea assured themselves a semi-final berth after comfortably beating Australia 63-25 in a Pool A contest of the Kabaddi World Cup.

Earlier on 14 October, Argentina had suffered another embarrassing defeat after they were smashed by England in a Pool A game of the Kabaddi World Cup at the TransStadia Arena.
