New Delhi: Rio Olympics silver-medallist shuttler PV Sindhu is all set to return to international circuit at Denmark Open amidst sky-rocketing expectations.
The 21-year-old will be spearheading the Indian challenge at Denmark Open Superseries Premier badminton tournament beginning this Tuesday. The sixth-seeded shuttler will take on China’s He Bingjiao in the first round of the tournament.
This will be Hyderabad girl’s first tournament after clinching the silver medal at Rio Olympics.
In the men’s singles competition, Ajay Jayaram will be looking to continue his successful run when he starts his campaign against Thailand’s Boonak Ponsana. On the other hand, the mixed doubles pair of Pranaav and N Sikki Reddy will clash with Joachim Fischer Nielsen and Christinna Pedersen of Denmark.
