New Delhi: An example of perfect dedication was made by World No. 9, 31-year-old Russian tennis star, Svetlana Kuznetsova, not on her social media account, but half-way during an important match against Polish player Agnieszka Radwanska in Singapore.

Kuznetsova proved that she would not let anything get in her way of success at the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) in the final match in Singapore, especially not her own hair! Half-way during her important match the tennis star decided to chop off her ponytail as it was ‘bothering’ her.

After completing the two sets of the final match, the Russian player asked for a break before starting her third set and requested a pair of scissors. What happened next shocked the fans and the audience witnessing the match.

Here is a clip of the incident that proves that the Russian tennis star, Svetlana Kuznetsova is an absolute badass when it comes to tennis.

But this is not the first instance that a tennis player decided to do something to take care of their locks on court. During last season’s WTA finals, Andy Murray had cut off his fringe, though this did not help him score a win over Rafael Nadal.
