New Delhi: Rishabh Pant of Delhi has scored the fastest ton in the Ranji cricket off just 48 balls. It is the fastest ton by any Indian in First Class cricket. During his way to this tremendous innings, he broke the record of the fastest ton which was previously held by RK Borah (Assam) and VB Chandrasekhar (Tamil Nadu), who both scored their centuries in 56 balls.
The 19-year-old prodigy thwarted the bowling attack of the opposition — Jharkhand, and posted a total of 135 in just 67 balls.
The future star of Indian cricket, Pant, is in incredible form this season as he has scored 799 runs so far which includes 3 centuries and one triple century.
