New Delhi: Ukrainian-born wrestler Yana Rattigan, who won silver at the 2014 Commonwealth Games, is in India and everybody is going crazy about her visit. The very humble wrestler was seen at the railway stations feeding poor children and visiting ashrams.

Yana, who won a gold medal at the National Championship in UK yesterday, says it is her dream to feed poor people as she has faced poverty in her early days.

She is one of the star attractions at the second edition of Pro Wrestling League (PWL), which is about to begin from December 15.

Yana competes internationally for Great Britain and England. But she is also a full-time chef at a restaurant in London.

“I work at Rawligion restaurant… I have to do the job because this is my major source of income,” Yana told The Tribune. “It’s tough to manage both things, but I can’t help it.”

“I cook very tasty food. I always try new varieties and people coming to the restaurant love my fusion kind of stuff,” she added.

The westler’s favourite Indian food is plain dal-rice.

Yana has come to India to attend the wedding of wrestler Geeta Phogat. She will be visiting Mumbai where she will cook food herself and then give it to the poor people.
