New Delhi: Indian cricketer Rohit Sharma underwent a successful surgery on his right upper quadriceps tendon at a hospital in London on Friday.
He took to his Twitter handle to share the news with his fans.
“All went well. Thank you for your good wishes. Can’t wait to be back,” Rohit tweeted.

The top Indian batsman suffered an injury during the final ODI against New Zealand in Vishakhapatnam on October 29.
The news of Rohit’s successful surgery was confirmed by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Saturday.
“The procedure was successful and Rohit will be discharged from the hospital in the next 24 hours. BCCI medical team is constantly monitoring his treatment and will oversee his recovery, towards becoming match fit,” the BCCI said.
