Earlier, England got all out for 255 runs in the first innings. For England, Stokes was the highest scorer with 70 runs, while Root and Bairstow scored 53 each. No other English batsman could stay at the crease. As a result, England ended up giving a considerable lead to India.
Meanwhile, India will be batting again and have decided not to enforce follow-on.
