New Delhi: It seems like Manchester United’s mojo is working as they dealt a heavy 4-0 blow to Feyenoord at the Europa League game at Old Trafford. Manchester United displayed a much-needed spirited performance in the game to correctly connect passes with accurate shots.

In scoring the first goal at the 39th minute of the game – a link up goal with the help of Zlatan Ibrahimovic – Rooney surpassed the record of Ruud van Nistelrooy to become Manchester United’s top European goalscorer.

Rooney, whose inebriated antics recently gave the player a bad repo, was in excellent condition as he executed a beautiful pass to Juan Mata after scoring his first.

Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic also scored in the game when a small cross he directed towards the post deflected off of Feyenoord’s keeper.

Armenian player Mkhitrayan’s dazzling performance in the game was appreciated by Jose Mourinho.

In the Europa League table, United now sit a point behind group leaders Fenerbahce and two points ahead of Feyenoord.
