Burnley midfielder Robbie Brady scored a stunning free-kick on Sunday to give his side a well earned 1-1 draw against league leaders Chelsea in their Premier league match at Turf Moor.

Antonio Conte’s side started superbly after taking an early lead in the first half through Spanish International Pedro who slided a neat finish into the bottom left corner.

In reply, record signing Robbie Brady equalised for Burnley with his free kick and the Clarets almost made it double before the first half end but Thibaut Courtois heroics denied Matt Lowton.

“It is one point and for sure we must be disappointed. We tried to win. We started very well and scored a goal and created chances to score the second goal, Conte said in a statement.

“We tried to win but we know Burnley at home are not easy. They have taken 29 points at home. Now it is important to continue to work,” he added.

Sean Dyche’s men have secured a massive result in the Premier league as the league leaders will only move 10 points with a possible 12 ahead of second place Tottenham.
