Everton is on rampage! The Merseyside club is going to be a force to reckon with in the upcoming Premier League season and the recent player acquisitions of the club certainly solidify their contention in top four (top flight division) of English football.

Everton have made their intent clear with the swoop of immensely talented and consistently performing defender Michael Keane from Burnely for 30 million pounds. They beat the competition from several top clubs who were trailing the defender and paid a club record sum, also which they paid to secure Romelu lukaku from Chelsea, to grab him.

The Goodison Park faithful have more than one thing to cheer about Michael Keane, as the defender is a home-grown player and has international experience as well.

Another statement signing by Everton was goalkeeper Jordan Pickford for whom they shelled out 25 million pounds plus add-ons. The young England goalie is another talented player who can work wonders for the club.

Also, arrival of Ajax captain Davy Klaassen further strengthens Everton’s midfield. The creative midfielder’s style of play will complement the tough tackling game of Idrissa Gueye, Morgan Schneiderlin and James McCarthy, and will also provide competition to injury prone Ross Barkley.

In the attacking department, Ronald Koeman will have Sandro Ramirez, 6 million pounds signing from Malaga, at his helm. Ramirez is a product of famed ‘La Masia’ youth academy of Barcelona and will be waiting to unleash his undoubted talent, if given regular game time.

There is much speculation around Everton’s talisman Romelu Lukaku, who can leave the club this summer but if he stays, Everton has everything to challenge for the top four. And if we add the tutelage of Koeman, the Toffees can go all the way.
