The Summer transfer window is nearing it’s end , and all the major European clubs are splashing in the cash to lure the best players they could, for their upcoming season. Most of the clubs have already made their move by fetching in the best of footballing talents for their squad.

Staggering deals involving big money have been executed so far in the window, here we bring you the 5 most expensive transfers this summer.

 

1) Romelu Lukaku-  (£75m) Everton to Manchester United

The Belgian striker was the second one to follow Victor Lidelof at Old trafford. Courtesy to his whooping goal scoring record in the Premier League, the 24 year old is the biggest signing in this summer transfer window. He moved to Europa League winners Manchester United from Everton for an initial fee of £75 million which could rise up to £90m with add ons.

 

2) Kyle Walker- (£53m) Tottenham to Manchester City

The price for the versatile right-back remains undisclosed with some media reports claiming it to be close to £50 million while others reporting it to be around £45m. according to ‘The Guardian’, Manchester City have paid £5om for the England national with add ons of up to £3m making him the most expensive defender of all time.

 

3) Alexandre Lacazette- (£46.5m) Lyon to Arsenal

The French forward was set for a move to Atletico Madrid, but a transfer ban on the Spanish giants made way for Arsenal to lure the striker to Emirates. It took a record £46.5 million for the FA Cup winners to secure his services.

 

4) Bernardo Silva- (£43m) Monaco to Manchester City

Man City boss Pep Guardiola was impressed by the Portuguese play-maker who played a significant role in Monaco’s successful title chase in the 2016-17 season. City splashed a whooping £43m to get their man.

 

5) Tiemoue Bakayoko – (£40m) Monaco to Chelsea

The French sensation was the latest to join the Premier League champions who paid £40m for him, the highest Chelsea has paid for any midfield signing.
