  • Sushma Verma was the most successful wicket keeper in the World Cup, with 15 dismissals.

  • BCCI announced an impressive Rs 50 lakh for each player and Rs 25 lakh to support staff for the splendid showing before the finals. Also the first time, the team flew Business class and their per day allowance was at par with men players.
