She’s young and raring to go. Alisha Abdullah started racing at the age of eight and hasn’t looked back since. In an exclusive interview to NewsX, she says that when she was young she missed going out and partying like her friends but today is thankful that she put her heart and soul into racing.

“I switched from cars to bikes because it is less expensive. The amount of money to be invested in car racing is huge and raising that kind of money is tough. The reason why I never participated in international car racing is because of the financials involved,” she says candidly.

Today, the girl placed first at the Chennai National Women Racing Championship 2017 and is thrilled. A win after 8 years, has her on a high. In this interview, Alisha talks about her life, her racing academy and what else she wants to achieve for herself and motorsports in the country.
