It seems like Barcelona forward Ousmane Dembele looks all set to prove doctors wrong as he is eyeing a much quicker return than expected from a career threatening injury in his left high last weekend.
The young sensation has dropped hints of a possible early return after posting his squad photo on Instagram with a hashtag suggesting that he will be back in two months.
As per reports, Dembele is currently recovering from his hamstring tear as he recently underwent for a surgery on Monday in Finland. The signing that cost Barcelona €105million returned the day after the Catalan giants thrashed Eibar 6-1 in their La Liga fixture at Camp Nou. His side prior to the kickoff expressed their well-wishing by wearing ‘Courage Ousmane’ t-shirts during the warm-up.
The Spanish club had earlier announced that Dembele will remain sidelined for 14 to 16 weeks after he sustained an injury during the Barca’s 2-1 away win over Getafe in La Liga last week.
If the recovery is going as he suggested then the former Borrusiaa Dortmund forward can compete for a place in Ernesto Valverde‘s squad when they travel to Turin for Champions League group stage match against Juventus.
