Argentine sensation Paulo Dybala has advised his strike partner Gonzalo Higuain to relax and take it easy encouraging him to keep performing and not worry about the goals. The former Napoli striker is going through a rough patch in his Juventus carrier currently and has failed to impress in the recently concluded games. Amid this crisis phase his country and club mate Dybala has shown belief in him and assured him of good performances soon.

Dybala and Higuain have been leading the Juventus attack since past two seasons and had steered the Italian giants into the finals of the Champions League last season. But this season, Higuain has struggled to keep his pace with just two goals whereas Dybala has been promising with ten goals in the season so far.

Juventus defeated Torino in their last Serie A encounter on Saturday, and Higuain was not picked in the starting eleven, meanwhile Dybala put a up a serious display in the clash against their neighbours and scored a brace to see them off 4-0.

Dybala believes sooner or later, Higuain will be back at his best again and will get into the goal business. Talking to Sky Sport Italia, he said, “It’s not a great period for [Higuain] because, for a striker, clearly, it’s not nice when you don’t score,” he told Sky Sport Italia.

“He just needs to relax and the goal will come when he least expects it. I was struggling to score at the start of last season, too, but as soon as you break the ice, you keep on going.”

He also emphasised on the importance of winning, not just scoring goals but keeping the winning run intact and claiming trophies, he said, “Goals are good but the team is important and we want to win trophies.”

He also mentioned that Massimiliano Allegri’s side are looking forward to all the competition including the Champions League and are ready to go all out for trophies.

Such positive remarks and word of encouragement from a younger team-mate is certain to boost Higuain’ morale in the tough times. The 29 year old is a natural predator and a useful striker who can perform in big matches for his club. It’s just about time that he gets back into his usual touch.

After the win against Torino manager Allegri had said that he wants Higuain to get back to his best and rest before he can play in the team.

“He is important to us, I left him out for him to rediscover his form. I know he has scored two for us and will score more”, Allegri told Mediaset Premium.
