West Brom are set to host Arsenal at the Hawthorns today as the Premier League action concludes on Monday. Arsene Weger’s men have gathered themselves up after a heavy defeat against Liverpool in the 2nd week of the season. They have since rattled past Bournemouth 3-nil and thrashed German side Koln in the Europa League opener.
Gunners will come into the game on a confident note after tying Chelsea to a goalless draw last Sunday. They have bettered their game and recovered well from the two straight losses against Liverpool and Stoke. With Wilshere, Sanchez and Ozil back in training, Wenger will have a variety of firepower to put up front. Danny Welbeck, however, remains sidelined for the clash.
Meanwhile, the Baggies come into the game after suffering defeats against Brighton and Manchester City in two of their last three games. They would like to grab those three points and jump 5 spots in the table.
Arsenal have already won 4 home games this season with victories against Leicester, Bournemouth, Doncaster and Cologne. Whereas, West Brom haven’t secured a victory away since the second week of the season.
Arsenal: Mesut Ozil can make a return following successful training over the weekend. Jack Wilshere had impressed against Doncaster in the Carabao Cup victory. Santi Cazorla, Danny Welbeck and Francis Coquelin will remain sidelined with injuries.
West Brom: Forward Nacer Chadli has been ruled out with a thigh bruise, can be available for selection in the starting Xl.
Potential starting XI:
Arsenal: Cech, Monreal, Mustafi, Koscienly, Kolasinac, Ramsey, Xhaka, Bellerin, Ozil, Sanchez, Lacazette
West Brom: Foster, Evans, McAuley, Gibbs, Dawson; Livermore, Barry, Krychowiak, Phillips, Morrison; Salomon Rondon.
