Adidas US official Online store might just have spilled the beans on Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s imminent Manchester United return.

The Swedish star striker was sidelined for remaining season after suffering a horrendous ALS injury in the Europa League semi final clash against Anderlecht.

Ibrahimovic has reportedly agreed to sign a contract renewal with United and is recovering at the club’s Carrington based medical facilities. Once fit the Manchester United top scorer last season can pair up with Romelu Lukaku at the heart of United’s attack this season.

Well the move now seems done with Adidas, club’s official kit partner revealing the new squad number of Zlatan this season. According to the kit display option on Adidas shopping website Ibrahimovic is set to don the number 10 jersey when he takes pitch for United this season.

Adidas US hinted at the squad number after Jerseys with the Swede’s name and number 10 on the back started selling on their shopping website.

Adidas were too quick to get into the game

The customize option panel also reflects names of the new signings Nemanja Matic, Victor Lindelof and Romelu Lukaku with their respective squad numbers 31, 2 and 9.

After Wayne Rooney’s return to his boyhood club Everton, the number 10 shirt has been vacant at United.

Ibrahimovic’s return can give United a reliable back-up upfront, after his goal scoring heroics last season manager Jose Mourinho would also be delighted with the idea of pairing him up with the Belgian.
