New Delhi / NewsX Bureau

BJP MP Ashok Argal, who along with three other members created a storm in the Lok Sabha by showing wads of cash during the trust vote, has said that the CD of the sting operation submitted by a private news channel to Parliament is a doctored one.

Meanwhile, the Parliamentary Committee investigating the 'cash-for-vote scam' has sought time till the end of August to complete its investigation.

The meeting was attended by Argal and BJP MP Faggan Singh Kulaste, who had claimed to have been given cash to abstain from the trust vote.

The committee has asked the private channel which did the sting to be present in the next hearing scheduled for August 11.
