BJP objects to Amar Singh as member of the NIC

BJP on Friday raised objection to the appointment of Amar Singh as a member of the National Integration Council (NIC).
"It is unfortunate that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has appointed a person to the NIC, who is working as a force of disintegration in the country and creating a divide in the society by his shameful and thoughtless utterances," said spokesperson Prakash Javadekar.
He alleged that Amar Singh was involved in glorifying terrorists and in raising doubts over the sacrifice of police officer like M C Sharma, who died fighting terrorists in the Jamia Nagar encounter in the capital.
"The appointment of such a person has come as a shock, one who glorifies terrorists, certifies suspects as innocents and raises doubts over the great sacrifice of Inspector M C Sharma in the Jamia Nagar encounter," Javadekar told reporters.
"This is actually a denigration of the NIC that such a person has been appointed by the Prime Minister," he said, adding that "the appointment appears to be a payback for all the services that have been rendered by Amar Singh for the survival of the UPA government by manufacturing majority through cash for votes scandal."
He also alleged that the Prime Minister apparently wants to use the "special services" of Amar Singh to "vociferously lead the demand for banning the Bajrang Dal" at the forthcoming NIC meeting on October 13.

Not surprising....Congress is aparty of all crooked and shamelss politicians....they included this idiot Amar singh in the NIC due to congress's obligation towards him and his party....Sad is the state of affairs in India....people who need to be behind bars for harbouring terrorists are ruling us.
