Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan, who was admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai last Saturday following complaints of abdominal pain, was discharged on Friday. He had been in the hospital for a week.

Bachchan was admitted on his birthday, October 11. Big B was complaining of severe abdominal pain and was diagnosed with incisional hernia.

He went back home in his own car. Son Abhishek and daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai were with him.
