British actress Sienna Miller is missing her boyfriend Rhys Ifans so much that she sent him 53 text messages in just eight hours.

Miller is shooting the movie "GI Joe" in Los Angeles, mirror.co.uk reports.

"Sienna is missing Rhys massively and they have stayed in constant contact. She boasted that they sent each other 53 texts in the space of eight hours. We've also been telling her that if she doesn't calm down, she'll end up with repetitive strain injury - and won't ever be able to text him again," said a friend.

A source added: "Sienna has started trying to use alternate hands to give her thumbs a bit of a break."
