Madhur Bhandarkar has surely got his notes on the fashion world right in his latest flick. From real like characters to the intricacies of the ladida world of the catwalk, Fashion presents a rather vivid image of the short lived, glamour starved, bitchy and cut-throat world of fashion designers and models.

The movie revolves around the life of a small town starry eyed model who has dreams of making it big in Mumbai. While she succeeds in making that quintissential flight to stardom and rakes in moolah, she also acquires an arrogance so sharp that plummets her to failure and downfall. Failed relationships, vices and emotional breakdowns galore as she finds herself getting sucked into the black hole. While Bollywood's love for smooth endings brings her back on the block, Bhandarkar deserves full credit for being able to portray, emotions, competitions and rivalry in the world of fashion as the classy veneer gives away to a reality so macabre that it would make one shudder, perfectly.

Priyanka Chopra needed a good movie to stay afloat and Fashion will do more than just damage control for her previous flops like Drona and Chamku. Audiences are sure to look forward with more excitement to her performance in Dostana. Kangana Ranaut needs to be totally written off for her lack of talent and abysmal dialogue delivery. Her character is very strong but gets marred by her over-acting. Kitu Gidwani and Arbaaz Khan are great in their roles.
