Saurav Ghosal enters 2nd round of PSA Challenger

Top seeded Saurav Ghosal made a winning start in the $15,000 PSA Indian Challenger Chennai Open, defeating Elvinn Keo of Malaysia in the first round in Chennai tonight.
Ghosal, India's national champion, put up a consummate show to outplay Keo 11-7 11-7 11-6.
In another match, second seeded Ritwik Bhattacharya came from behind to defeat England's Jaymie Haycocks 10-12 11-7 11-6 11-4.
Other Indians, who entered into the next round, include seventh seeded Siddarth Suchde, who disposed of qualifier Abdullah Almezayen of Kuwait 12-10 11-8 11-5 and unseeded Harinder Pal singh, who put up a no-hold-barred effort to stun his Malaysian counterpart Mohammed Asyraf Azan 11-8 5-11 11-9 11-9.
In an all-Indian match, Suchde will take on Harinder in the second round on Thursday.
