Prime Minister Manmohan Singh was "shattered" by the conduct of three Bharatiya Janata Party MPs who flashed bundles of cash in the Lok Sabha during the trust vote debate alleging they were bribed, a high level source said.

The seven-member Lok Sabha committee formed to probe the allegations by three BJP MPs that they had been bribed to abstain in the July 22 trust vote began its first meeting on Wednesday.
