More than a quarter of children who don't get adequate sleep become either overweight or hyperactive, says a Canadian study.
Taunts or jeers of peers can rob obese adolescents of peace of mind and result in health and psychological problems that overshadow their young adulthood.
It's known that exercise is a key factor leading to sustained weight loss. But, a new study says otherwise -- physical activity has no impact on obese children and instead they should be encouraged to eat more healthy.
"They will lose more weight through healthy, lifelong changes to their diet than physical activity,"said researchers.
