Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, on Monday, declared free medical care for those who were hurt in the fire that started at a hotel in Lucknow.
After arriving at the civil hospital, the Chief Minister spoke with the survivors. The government and officials were also instructed to offer the survivors medical care and emergency aid. According to sources, CM Yogi has asked the Lucknow Commissioner and other police to investigate the fire incident together.
The injured were also met by Brajesh Pathak, the Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh.
The care of those who are hurt, as well as the homes and families of the two persons who died, will all be fully covered by the state government.
“The state government will take full responsibility for the treatment of those injured, as well as the houses and families of the two people who have lost their lives are also listed,” said Pathak.
A high-level meeting addressing the incident is also expected to be held shortly by the deputy chief minister, who has promised to take harsh measures against those guilty.
Lucknow CMO Manoj Aggarwal said that two people were killed and 10 others injured in a massive fire on Monday at Levana Hotel in Hazratganj area of Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh.
“The fire incident in a hotel was reported this morning, after which the rescue operation is on. A fire incident took place in Levana Hotel in Hazratganj this morning, after which patients are being admitted to the hospital. So far 10 people have been admitted to the Civil Hospital, out of which 2 people are brought dead,” Agarwal said.
