Supreme Court released three prisoners who had been sentenced to death by a Delhi Court after being found guilty of raping and killing a 19-year-old woman in Delhi’s Chhawala area in 2012.

On Monday, the Supreme Court released three prisoners who had been sentenced to death by a Delhi Court after being found guilty of raping and killing a 19-year-old woman in Delhi’s Chhawala area in 2012.

After being found guilty of raping and killing a 19-year-old woman in 2012, the three convicts were sentenced to death. The mutilated body of the victim was discovered in a field, with many injuries caused by assault with things ranging from car tools to earthen pots. In February 2014, a Delhi court sentenced three men to death for raping and killing a 19-year-old woman in 2012.

On August 26, 2014, the Delhi High Court upheld the death penalty, stating that they were “predators” on the streets searching for prey.

Ravi Kumar, Rahul, and Vinod were convicted on multiple offences including kidnapping, rape, and murder.

The case began in February 2012, when the body of a 19-year-old girl was discovered in Haryana. After being raped, the girl was brutally murdered.

A case was filed in this respect at the Chhawala (Najafgarh) police station in outside Delhi.

According to the prosecution, they kidnapped the woman, raped her, murdered her, and dumped her body in a field near Rodhai village in Haryana’s Rewari district.
