Actor Abhimanyu Singh has been confirmed to portray the antagonist in the upcoming Sunny Deol-starrer, ‘Lahore 1947,’ directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, according to a statement released.

Director Santoshi expressed his excitement about casting Singh, highlighting his formidable presence and undeniable talent. He emphasized the importance of evolving the portrayal of villains in cinema and praised Singh’s intensity, voice, and conviction in bringing the character to life.

‘Lahore 1947,’ produced under the banner of Aamir Khan Productions, marks a significant collaboration between Sunny Deol, Rajkumar Santoshi, and Aamir Khan. This project also represents the 17th production from Aamir Khan Productions.

In addition to Sunny Deol and Abhimanyu Singh, the film features Preity Zinta and Shabana Azmi in prominent roles.
