The girl was referred to Safdarjung Hospital and is now being treated there. The event occurred at 7:30 a.m.

The victim expressed suspicions about two persons she knew. Later police apprehended one of them.

According to authorities, a PCR call was received alleging an acid attack on a female in the vicinity of Police Station Mohan Garden.

Two people on a bike reportedly assaulted a 17-year-old girl with an acid-like substance at 7:30 a.m. this morning, according to police.

According to the Delhi Police, “The girl was with her younger sister at the time of the occurrence. She has voiced concerns about two people they know. One individual has been arrested, and additional investigation is underway.”

Moreover victim’s father stated, “My two daughters left for school at 7:29 a.m., but my younger daughter came home about 7:35 a.m. and informed me that two guys had poured acid on her elder sister. The suspects had their faces concealed, as seen by CCTV footage.”

Her condition is deteriorating, and we are really concerned. We’ve talked to the cops, the father stated.
