Denis Manturov, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade, met with Ajit Doval, Advisor to the Indian Prime Minister. Mr. Manturov attended the conference as Chair of the Russian section of the Intergovernmental Russian-Indian Commission for Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technological, and Cultural Cooperation.
The parties addressed the expansion of trade and commercial connections, as well as current concerns concerning collaboration in other areas of mutual interest, such as the peaceful use of outer space.
“I believe it is critical to fully utilise the Intergovernmental Commission framework in order to deepen bilateral engagement across the board,” Denis Manturov stated.
He also congratulated Indian partners on India’s 75th anniversary of independence.
