Andaman and Nicobar Islands hit by a 4.4 magnitude earthquake

In the early hours of Wednesday, an earthquake measuring 4.4 on the Richter scale struck east-northeast of Campbell Bay

The National Center for Seismology (NCS) reported that an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.4 struck east-northeast of Campbell Bay in the early hours of Wednesday.

The earthquake’s shocks reached a depth of 10 kilometres and occurred at roughly 8.45 a.m., according to NCS.

As per the recent developments, NCS tweeted, ” Earthquake of Magnitude:4.4, Occurred on 06-04-2022, 18:07:19 IST, Lat: 7.37 & Long: 94.35, Depth: 10 Km, Location: 63km NE of Campbell Bay, Andaman and Nicobar island, India.”
