2 LeT terrorists, involved in grenade attack on civilian, arrested in Budgam

The police said that on Monday night, several terrorists threw a grenade in the Budgam district of Kashmir’s Gopalpora Chadoora. A bystander called Karan Kumar was hurt in the assault. Karan was subsequently taken to the Srinagar Hospital for treatment, where it was said that his condition there was currently stable and under control.

Sahil Wani and Altaf Farooq alias Amir, two hybrid terrorists of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), were captured by police on Saturday after they solved the case. Additionally, the terrorists’ vehicle was taken. The case is being looked into even more.

In a combined operation with the Indian Army, J&K Police earlier on Saturday captured a terrorist from Bandipora.

Imtiyaz Ah Beigh, alias Ina Bhai, the terrorist who was just apprehended, resides in Beigh Mohalla Fatehpora in the Baramulla district, according to the police.

From his march, police seized incriminating items, weapons, and ammo, including an AK 47 rifle, two AK magazines, and 59 AK rounds.

In the meantime, National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Thursday carried out searches at eight locations in Jammu and Kashmir in connection with the case involving the interception of a drone by a crucial component of The Resistance Front (TRF), a Lashkar-e-Taiba offshoot that was acting at the direction of Pakistani handlers and used it to deliver consignments of explosives as well as weapons and ammunition.
