Following Friday’s violence in several parts of the state, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath convened a high-level conference on law and order on Saturday, ordering officials to continue “bulldozer action” against criminals while also gathering information on their illegal funds and sources of income.

During a video conference with the dc and senior police officers on Saturday evening, the CM claimed that the violence on Friday had been attempted in Kanpur on June 3 will result to strong action against the accused.

CM went on to say that unlawful money is used in anti-social actions, hence bank account and property information for conspirators and accused should be obtained.
He directed that authorities check their sources of income and that a dedicated team lead by a senior official be formed to do so.
