Multiple people were hurt in a mid-air accident between two light aircraft on Thursday in US state of California.
Following two landing attempts at the nearby airport, the incident happened in Watsonville. In a statement published on Twitter, local administration stated, “After two aircraft collided while trying to land at Watsonville Municipal Airport, many agencies arrived. There have been several fatalities reported.”
The incident is presently the subject of an inquiry.
