CM Yogi Adityanath Pays Tribute to Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna, Appeals for Maximum Voter Participation

In a heartfelt message on social media platform X, CM Yogi Adityanath honored Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna as a renowned freedom fighter and former CM of Uttar Pradesh. Bahuguna, a Congress leader, served as the CM of Uttar Pradesh in 1973.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath commemorated the death anniversary of former Chief Minister Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna by paying humble tribute and respect to his memories. CM Yogi, along with other dignitaries, including Cabinet Minister Swatantradev Singh, Mayor Sushma Kharkwal, Prayagraj MP Rita Bahuguna Joshi, and Chief Secretary Durga Shankar Mishra, garlanded Bahuguna’s statue at Yojana Bhawan.

Additionally, as the Election Commission announced the schedule for the Lok Sabha elections, CM Yogi Adityanath urged voters across the country to actively participate in these crucial elections. The elections, spanning 7 phases, are set to be a pivotal moment in India’s democratic process.

In his post on X, CM Yogi Adityanath extended heartfelt greetings to all voters as the “Mahaparv” general elections commenced, emphasizing the importance of standing united with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s resolutions. Notably, while the general elections will cover 543 seats nationwide across 7 phases, Uttar Pradesh will witness voting for its 80 seats in all 7 phases as well. The first phase of nominations is scheduled to begin on March 27, with voting slated for April 19. The final phase of nominations will occur on May 14, followed by voting on June 1, with results expected to be announced on June 4.
