Prices of CNG, PNG increased from today

Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) raised the cost of compressed natural gas (CNG) on Friday by Rs 3 per kilogramme.

Compressed natural gas (CNG) prices were hiked by Rs 3 per kilogramme by Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) on Friday.

As a result, from today, CNG will cost Rs 78.61 per kilogramme.

The price of CNG in Noida, Greater Noida, and Ghaziabad is Rs 81.17 per kilogramme. In Gurugram, it would cost Rs 86.94 per kg.

CNG is currently offered for Rs 89.07 per kg in Rewari and Rs 87.27 per kg in Karnal and Kaithal in Haryana as a result of the most recent price increase.

It will cost Rs 88.88 per kg in Ajmer, Pali, and Rajsamand of Rajasthan, while it will cost Rs 85.84 per kg in Muzaffarnagar, Meerut, and Shamli of Uttar Pradesh.

Kanpur, Hamirpur, and Fatehpur in Uttar Pradesh would charge Rs 90.40 per kilogramme for CNG.

Since October of last year, when local and foreign gas prices began to rise, gas distributors have periodically increased prices. It was increased earlier in May by Rs 2.

The cost of domestic piped natural gas (PNG) in Delhi has also increased thanks to IGL, reaching Rs 53.59 per standard cubic metre (SCM).

Starting today, the new pricing will be in effect. The PNG price has increased to Rs 53.46 per SCM for Ghaziabad, Noida, and Greater Noida, while it will cost Rs 51.79 per SCM in Gurugram. The price per SCM in Karnal and Rewari will be 52.40. The price per SCM for Muzaffarnagar, Meerut, and Shamli will be 56.97.
