Political party leaders will make a last-ditch attempt as campaigning for the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) elections concludes on Friday.
BJP campaigned with a vast number of roadshows, led by various Union ministers and state Chief Ministers, including national president JP Nadda, for a tremendous show of strength. JP Nadda, national president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), expressed optimism and stated that people are willing to vote for the BJP because they are tired with the work of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).
The high-stakes elections for 250-ward Municipal Corporation of Delhi are scheduled for December 4, with results expected on December 7.
The civic elections are being contested by the BJP, which presently controls the civic bodies in the national capital, the AAP, and the Congress.
Nadda also chastised the AAP for failing to clean up the Yamuna despite the fact that the Centre had given the Kejriwal administration hundreds of rupees.
Manish Sisodia, Aam Admi Party (AAP) leader and Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, will host a roadshow in Patparganj on Friday.
All of the major parties in the race have campaigned hard in order to sway voters.
Chief Ministers from BJP-controlled states are also holding rallies and roadshows. While some chief ministers have already held election rallies, including Assam’s Himanta Biswa Sarma, Haryana’s Manohar Lal Khattar, and Himachal Pradesh’s Jairam Thakur. Since 2007, the BJP has had control in the MCD.
Anurag Thakur, Minister of Information and Broadcasting, stated on Thursday that the BJP will win more seats than in the last elections.
