Drishyam 2 Box Office Update: Ajay Devgn-Starrer Breaks Bad Spell of BO Draught

As Drishyam 2 made Rs 80 crore in only five days, it is showing no signs of slowing down. The Devgn-starring movie is now dominating the box office and winning over audiences’ hearts.

Drishyam 2, starring Ajay Devgn and Tabu, appears to be restoring the optimism we had lost, as the movie will shortly surpass the Rs 100 crore mark. The Hindi version of Drishyam 2 is breaking records on Day 5 in a year that has seen the greatest Bollywood actors, including Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar, and Ranveer Singh, struggle to capture the spotlight on the big screen.

After surpassing Rs 15 crore on day 1, the movie had a pretty strong debut on the big screen. The Hindi entertainment sector’s greatest advance ticket sales this year and a spectacular launch day belong to Drishyam 2.

Film critic and Bollywood industry analyst Taran Adarsh released today’s box office figures on Twitter earlier today (November 23), noting that “#Drishyam2 at national chainsDay 4 versus Day 5 business… #PVR: 2.65 billion/2.2 billion #INOX: 2.15 billion/1.9 billion #Cinepolis: 1.13 billion/99.75 billion Total: 5.93 billion / 5.27 billion SUPERB HOLD, please.

Well, Drishyam 2 isn’t going anywhere and is fiercely challenging the first movie in the series, Drishyam.

The November 18 release of Drishyam 2, which was supported by Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, and Krishan Kumar, has received overwhelmingly positive reviews from both the public and reviewers.

Abhishek Pathak is the director of the film. Ishita Dutta and Shriya Saran play significant parts as well. Ajay played Vijay, who deceived everyone into believing his family had gone a holiday, in the well-liked 2015 film Drishyam.
